Well well well, what a week! As the saying goes the tough really have got going!
Our buying team have been out this week scouring the four corners of ……… well erm, London and we really have turned up some iconic gems!
First of all it has finally been announced that terrace God Massimo Osti’s son (Lorenzo) and daughter (Agata) are collaborating with M A. Strum to resurrect a collection influenced by their departed fathers ‘Osti Studio’ line. Ten stores in the UK will have the honour of stocking this range and after we have bought it (we’ll keep you informed) delivery should be later this summer.
Not impressed? OK try this for size, Cult brand CP Company are to release a 25th anniversary Mille Miglia coat revamped by Altor Throup. Now we got a sneak preview of this legendary garment and can confirm that although it carry’s a hefty price tag (around £1500) this coat will not disappoint. Without giving too much away it has every detail an open top racing car driver could wish for (or just those who want to turn heads at the match). Finished in an olive coloured tinto terra wash this coat will probably number no more than fifty pieces in the UK.
Not to be out done by their sibling brand, Stone Island are also to release a much converted classic in their A/W 09 range. Now if we need to explain to you what the Ice Jacket does then you are probably best skipping down a paragraph. Coming back out in electric blue, yellow and white these jackets are sure to be snapped up before the cold weather even kicks in.
Finally one of the picks of the trip has to be the launch of the Berghaus heritage range. Famously worn by Chris Bonington (and sartorially aware chaps up and down the country in the 80s). Berghaus are offering two classics from the 80s made to the exact, original specification of the Trango and the Tornado coats. Time to get those hiking boots out!
So well done to all of our suppliers concerned for coming up with something special in these trying times, Billy Ocean would be proud of you!

Happy New Year! ….. but is it?
Freezing temperatures, doom and gloom on the high street and falling house prices.
Well here at Tessuti we have got something to make you smile! This is one of our favourite times of the year when we get box upon box of fresh new stock being delivered daily and we are working at full capacity to get it online for you.
This week we have uploaded new stock from Lyle & Scott, Adidas, Vivienne Westwood and Stone Island. This season is full of colour which is just the ticket to lift us from the doldrums and all of the doom mongering right now.
So put on your sunglasses and start clicking a smile back on your face!
