MA Strum is a new label featuring unique, high quality, functional apparel. The MA Strum collection comes from the archives of two renowned designers Massimo Osti and Donrad Duncan, whose experience in outerwear create the innovative MA Strum coats you see here in our featured designer lines.

Military and MA Strum clothing

MA Strum coats are unarguably masculine with hard lines, strong panels lending strength to the figure underneath and a strong military influence. The revolutionary use of fabric and the combination of sternness and style is iconic in the MA Strum collection. This comes from the history of one of the MA.Strum designers, Donrad Duncan.

Duncan, a former designer for Victorinox, takes his influences for the MA Strum clothing line from the navy and military. The palette featured in MA Strum coats consists of greys and whites, browns and orange tones, navy blues and military greens. This leads to MA.Strum coats having an undeniably military look, yet with a sort of classic style you'd never see on a soldier.

Bringing the passion behind Italian designer brands

The first season of MA Strum clothing centres on your needs for this Autumn and Winter. While an ordinary winter coat can protect against the chill, Ma Strum clothing aims to defeat the cold, both from the weather and from the fashionistas.

The creative team behind Ma Strum clothing are some of the driving forces in Italian fashion in the last two decades. Massimo Osti led the way for some of the iconic Italian brands the world loves today, including Stone Island and Bonneville, and of course the designer's own Massimo Osti Double Use. After the Osti studio was deprived of its head by Massimo Osti's death in 2005, Osti's children Lorenzo and Agata turned to Donrad Duncan for the creation of the new MA Strum clothing collection.

MA Strum: technology becomes fashion revolutionary

Massimo Osti was famed for his fabric experimentation, and that influence is clear in MA Strum clothing. The military style influences on other Osti collections also shine through with MA Strum.

The MA Strum collection follows on in Osti's innovative use of fabrics. The clothing collection uses shape-memory cotton, carbon-coated fabrics to combine technology and fashion in MA Strum coats. The principle of 'wearable technology' means that the Ma Strum clothing line features integrated technological features and embedded accessories. This combines with the stern but stylish shapes in the MA Strum collection.
